My creative journey has taken me through many forms, photography, art direction, interior design, and furniture upcycling, but my first love was always food and cooking, a lifelong obsession. Most recently, you’d find me behind the lens as a product photographer, capturing stories for brands that embrace bold, playful aesthetics, just like I do (in case you couldn’t tell).
But creativity isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am. Like so many freelancers, I’ve experienced it all, feeling inspired and in flow one moment, burnt out the next, and everything in between.
After 10 years as a freelance creative, I’ve learned that creativity and wellbeing aren’t separate, they’re intertwined, each fuelling the other. I’ve also discovered what it takes to build a sustainable creative career without sacrificing yourself in the process. But I did learn this the hard way, that is why I created Ember & Bloom, to help you set up a more sustainable practice from the beginning.
As a creative coach, I guide freelancers through the parts of this journey that no one prepares you for, setting boundaries, working with creative energy not against it, mindset shifts, creative blocks and the habits that help you sustain your creativity long-term.
I’m here to share what I’ve learned, cheer you on, and create a space where we can all thrive together.
It’s a pleasure to be part of your journey.
